A former SA cricketer has been accused of rape. The accused may not be named until he appears in court but it has been reported that the man represented South Africa during the the 1992 World Cup.
The rape allegedly took place after a party in Cintsa, Eastern Cape, on Saturday evening. A police spokesperson said the case has been opened but the man has not been formally charged.
