Apple To Debut ‘CarPlay’ At 2014 Geneva Auto Show [VIDEO]

A year ago a sane person wouldn’t have trusted the directions given to you by Apple Maps. The app had a tendency to direct you across airport runways. But with that mess all sorted, Apple are focusing on the in-car interface.

Apple’s ‘CarPlay’ software aims to be an intuitive interface which syncs with your iPhone. The ‘CarPlay’ will allow hands free interaction with your car’s personal electronic console, using Siri like you would a phone. The CarPlay will make use of Apple Maps to guide you through traffic. Apple intends to launch CarPlay in Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo vehicles.
