Photographer Terry Richardson has gained a lot of infamy for his photo shoots. These days it seems like everybody in the celeb world has posed in front of his lens. Miley Cyrus even did some risque shots exposing a large quantity of skin. But there are models who refuse to work with him, and they’re starting to talk about his unsolicited sexual advances.
Models Alise Shoemaker and Sara Ziff say that majority of models that had the opportunity to work with Richardson complain about his behaviour. He often asks models to do compromising things to get a gig or during the shoot, calling them prudes for not “going with the flow.”
They say it’s hard to complain or lay charges against these types of photographers as there is no law protecting models against sexual harassment. Model agencies are also not willing to pursue these allegations, for fear of burning bridges with the famous photographer.
