Protesters began marching from Woodstock and Cape Town Central train stations to the Western Cape Legislature in the CBD at around 10:50 this morning. Thus far the march has been characterised by heavy police presence, arson (allegedly by protestors), and stun grenades on Sir Lowry Road between Woodstock and the CBD. We’ll keep you posted.
Anyone know what’s happening in Zonnebloem? Riot police everywhere and lots of shouting. People flooding N2 inbound.
