Hectic Video Captures Bird Smashing Into Plane’s Windshield [VIDEO]

This pilot must have been soiling his pants when a bird smashed into the cockpit window, exploding the windshield. The pilot was 1000 ft in the air when bird and plane met. Luckily his smartphone was recording the whole event.

Pilot Robert Weber emerged from the whole event with but a cut on his head, after carrying out an emergency landing. Weber later said: “First thing that came to mind was the first thing I was told when I started flying, and that was ‘just fly the fucking plane’.”

The video shows him safely landing the plane after the bird collided with the plane going at 170mph.
