Fast cars, lavish property, booze and parties would be most lottery winners’ first priorities, but not László Andraschek’s. The formerly homeless man vows to support addicts and abused women, after winning R31 Million in the Hungarian lottery.
On his way to an alcoholic recovery workshop, Andraschek spent his last few coins on his winning ticket. His first act after his lucky windfall was to repay family debts and buy his children a car. He has said that a large portion of the cash will be used to set up a foundation to support addicts and abused women.
True to his words, Andraschek has already donated a large sum to a hostel that caters for the homeless.
