Well this certainly isn’t going to do much good for global cyclist/motorist relations. Commuting by bicycle is becoming increasingly common in London (and Cape Town, for that matter), and the city has responded over the course of the last decade by installing dedicating bicycle lanes parallel to traffic. And that’s the place where confrontation between motorists and cyclists so often happens.
Such is the case in this video, when a cyclist informs a man driving a white audi that he is encroaching on a lane designed to give cyclists a head start on motorised traffic. The man ignores him and promptly drives off. Things kick off at the next traffic light.
