On Saturday the 25 January, the original team that created the first Macintosh renunited at Cupertino California for the Mac@30 event, celebrating 30 years since the Macintosh was released.
Early Apple was often criticised by skeptics and naysayers. Even so its announcements were always well attended, with geeks clamouring to see what Apple would unveil next. This rare video is the original footage of the Mac Demo and unveiling, and despite it’s very obvious vintage nature it’s chock-full of Steve Jobs’ awesomeness and quirky catchphrases.
The video itself was recorded on a now defunct format (called U-matic), but now this historic video has been digitised for us all to see.
