Twitter has always been a numbers game, with your credibility and importance being measured almost entirely by the number of followers you have. If you need to boost your ego a little bit, a bug has been uncovered that allows you to gain an essentially infinite number of followers just by clicking. All you need to do is log onto a second Twitter handle, go to the home page of the handle you’d like to bump up, and hammer on the follow button. You’ll notice that the follow count goes up with each second click. Nifty!
For all those tech nerds out there, there is a way to fully automate the process on javascript explained by Karnesh Mehara (who discovered the bug). It doesn’t seem to last longer than 6/7 hours, so it all goes down to how desperate you are for followers.
Get clicking.
