The Justin Bieber edition of the child-star-goes-crazy syndrome is officially underway, as the Canadian singer was arrested in Miami on Thursday morning.

Policemen spotted two black SUVs blocking traffic on Pine Tree drive on Miami Beach, accompanied by two Lamborghinis setting up for a drag race on the completely deserted road.

Sitting in one of the Lamborghinis was Justin Bieber.

He was pulled over for speeding, failed a sobriety test, tested positively for drug use, was completely incoherent and reportedly resisted arrest, shouting: “What the fuck did I do? Why did you stop me?”. And in so doing, he also made the dreams of millions finally come true.

On a more disappointing note, he was eventually released on bail. Here’s a video of him waving to his adoring fans as he leaves the police station.

Of course, Bieber’s arrest caused absolute mayhem on Twitter. Teenage girls came to his defence in their millions, while the rest of the world relished the opportunity to lash out at him.
