Cecil Chao, the Hong Kong billionaire who oferred an initial sum of R650 million to the man who could win his daughters heart, has now doubled up his offer in a desperate attempt to ensure he has grandchildren.

His daughter, Gigi Chao, eloped with her girlfriend to France in 2012 – which was when Cecil made his initial offering on the web.

When he spoke to the Financial Times in January 2013, he confirmed that his offer still stood, and that if a man could turn his daughter away from homosexuality he “will give them a moderately deluxe life.”

Chao’s daughter, being the open-minded liberal that she is, completely dismissed her fathers efforts to get her pregnant:

I don’t think my dad’s offering of any amount of money would be able to attract a man I would find attractive.

I would be happy to befriend any man willing to donate huge amounts of money to my charity Faith in Love, provided they don’t mind that I already have a wife. Third and lastly, thank you Daddy, I love you too.
