As the full moon drifted across the night sky in Cape Town this weekend, it drew amateur hikers from all over the city to take on Lion’s Head – the tamest of all the City Bowl hikes.

It may be the tamest, but it is arguably the prettiest. A local photographer shot this awesome footage last week, when hundreds of people trudged up Lion’s Head, illuminated by the brightness of the full moon.
