In South Africa, muggers will sometimes give you back your SIM card if you ask nicely. In England, muggers will sometimes throw a ceramic plate at your arm, before kicking you multiple times in the face.
The 51-year-old was walking along Bordesley Green Road in Birmingham at around 1:10am after a birthday party on December 15.
The footage shows one of the two attackers throwing a ceramic plate at the man, striking him on the arm. As the victim continues down the road a second offender appears out of nowhere and punches him in the head – immediately knocking him into the gutter unconscious.
They then proceed to kick him numerous times in the head.
