Getting a parking space in central London has become such an impossible task that the Westminster council has decided to begin rolling out smart parking sensors.
Next week, sensors will be distributed across the Westminster network. Combined with an app that drivers can download, the sensors provide a real-time map of available and unavailable parking spaces.
Councillor Nickie Aiken, cabinet member for street management, hopes www.health-canada-pharmacy.com/erectile-dysfunction.html that this measure will help ease congestion, and reduce carbon emissions:
Parking bay sensors are a simple concept that will deliver major benefits for people visiting Westminster as well as those living and working here.
If the Westminster-wide trial with firm Smart Parking is successful, it could be rolled out across London.
Of course, they could just get a scooter.
