Kellie Pilicer, the owner of Sing Sing Karaoke bar in South Beach, Miami, got the surprise of her life when Beyonce and Jay-Z pitched up for a little singing session.
The couple didn’t come alone though, as Destiny’s Child’s Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were also in tow. Pilicer recalls how she first noticed Beyonce in her bar:
A big security-looking guy walked in and asked us what time we closed. I’m thinking he’s going to come in with maybe a couple of other people and then all of a sudden a couple of people wearing hoodies do start trickling in and one woman comes up and asks me where the bathroom is and I look up and it’s freaking Beyonce.
When Beyonce and her entourage entered the bar, only two of the 17 karaoke stalls were being used. Pilicer says that at one point, beyonce asked who the other two rooms were filled by.
It just so happened that in one of the rooms were three girls, who had been there for six hours getting trashed on Long Island Ice Teas. Beyonce and Kelly Rowland followed the sounds of the girls screeched singing, and burst into the room only to find the girls singing Beyonce’s very own “Party”.
Beyonce follows the sounds, she just walks right in, and there are two girls sitting and one of their friends had fallen asleep on the lounge chair…I’m standing there watching this whole thing and the other people in their party started walking in and cracking up because they were singing Beyonce.
The girls didn’t even recognise the stars at first, so they danced casually until one of them said “Hey, you look like Kelly Rowland,” before turning to Beyonce and going “Oh my god.”
Beyonce even took pictures with the drunk girl that was passed out on the couch, complete with a Kelly Rowland photo bomb.
