So much so that online music and CD sales deceased. Yowsers. You guys are getting serious about your vinyl, eh?
CD sales declined by 14,5% last year, while vinyl sales increased by more than 30%. Some 4,5 million units were sold in 2012, and last year a whopping 6 million records flew off the shelves.
Even online digital sales dipped by 8,4%, as streaming sites become ever more popular.
