Beau Constantia – the boutique winery that you didn’t know was less than 15 minutes away from the Cape Town CBD – is where you’ll be taking the relatives when they visit this festive season. As you take that right turn towards Kirstenbosch, they’ll groan inwardly, and then BOOM! You ignore the turn off and melt their faces by taking them to drink delicious wine in a glass cube perched on the a crazy slope with views all the way to the ocean.
THAT is how you increase your stake in the will, my friends.
The wine tasting room is open every day from 10h00 to 16h30.
And yes, you absolutely can taste all of their amazing wines, including the ones with the beards on the label.
Mean? VERY mean, my babies. Very mean.
Call those guys (contact details here), right now to make a booking. Poke around here for more info.
Bear in mind, they aren’t open on Christmas Day or Boxing Day, OBVIOUSLY.
(Christmas eve? Sure. Get in there.)
