We’re Not Joking: The Sign Language Interpreter At The Mandela Memorial Was A Fake [VIDEO]

To the ignorant, sign language is just a continuation of funky hand movements. Unfortunately, it seems that “most of us” includes the interpreter at Mandela’s memorial service yesterday.
Australian news agency, Special Broadcasting Services, released a report accusing accusing the interpreter of being unfit for the job. A board member of the World Federation of Deaf Youth Section Braam Jordaan added that he thinks the interpreter was “fake” and that he “made up his own signs.”
The interpreter was responsible for hand signing the speeches made by Mandela’s family, heads of state, religious leaders and other important figures.
The name of the interpreter has not yet been disclosed. The Deaf Federation of South Africa just announced that it will be releasing a report about the allegedly fake interpreter.
