Sure, we have those coffee-makers that grind, brew and spit out coffee at the push of a button, but what if we really wanted to roast our beans too?
Bonaverde proffers itself as the solution. With the touch of a button, the machine will turn raw, green coffee beans into a freshly-roasted cup of joe. One cycle can make as many as 12 cups of coffee, but it can be customized based on roast intensities and personal preferences.
From start to finish, it takes about about 12 to 14 minutes to turn raw, unroasted beans into a cup of coffee.
If this thing takes off, it would be able to eliminate a massive middle-man in the coffee industry, and allow producers to sell raw beans directly to the public instead of passing them through monopolistic coffee companies.
Nice.
