A man who is as well-known and distinguished as Nelson Mandela has obviously been credited for dozens of on-screen appearances, but surprisingly, he’s only been featured in one major motion picture.
Toward the end of the 1992 Spike Lee film ‘Malcolm X’, Mandela appears as a school teacher in Soweto. In the dusty classroom, Madiba recites the final lines from Malcolm X’s ‘by any means necessary’ speech.
But even one film appearance is enough to get an IMDB listing, and Mandela’s one is right here.
