Apparently there’s a Rob Ford impersonator out there, and Rob Ford himself has been stalking him. The impersonator claims that he was followed by the mayor and his brother, Doug Ford, over the weekend.
Toronto comedian Dave McKay was participating in the ‘Rofo Bus Tour’, which offers an hour-long tour though many of locations named in a police document investigating the infamous crack video, when he suspected something was amiss.
It was McKay’s role to impersonate the mayor drunkenly coming out of the same woods where police documented the mayor and alleged drug dealer Sandra Lisi drinking vodka — when Doug Ford came up to him.
Doug Ford came out and said ‘What’s going on here?’ We explained the tour and he joked along with us and expressed his displeasure about it but he posed for pictures for me and some of the tourists on the trip.
I thought it was very classy of him to come out. He made everyone laugh. He was a great performer and very open and friendly.
