Siesa, my bru! It’s the Kommetjie Festival on Saturday and if you’ve never done it before, I assure you it’s worth your while. The ‘Anything That Floats’ feature is my personal favourite. Go down, grab a beer and have a jol!

Head down South to the picturesque seaside village of Kommetjie for the annual Kommetjie Festival on Saturday 7th December. From 10am til late. Whacky surf competition, Anything that Floats, Christmas craft market, food and drinks, live music – all while enjoying the spectacular natural beauty of Kommetjie, Cape Town’s best kept secret!
Watch the sun set over the Atlantic and the stars coming out while enjoying live music from 5pm (tickets R80 for adults,R30 for kids under 16). Line-up includes Trenton & Free Radical, Wendy Oldfield, Tim Parr & Lionel Bastos, Crimson House, Rockerfella’s, Southern Sons and 7th Wave.
