Puma and the Bulls have revealed their most daring home and away kits ever. Or at least, since last year. Dubbed the “InvisiBull”, the new camouflage-inspired kits have a military feel. Which will be nice for everyone in Pretoria who owns a gun. Which will be nice for everyone in Pretoria.
The kits are a major departure from the purple and pinks strips the team wore last year, which were allegedly inspired by the jacaranda trees in the Bulls’ capital city, and not by the prevailing bridal colour scheme of your average Pretoria fiancee.
The Bulls and Puma state that the new kit “play[s] on the fact that camo is designed to make you invisible.” The home jersey is a sky blue camo, which is close to the Bulls traditional colours, while the away kit is Khaki, green and brown, which is close to Pretoria’s colours.
All of which is to say that the jersey is actually pretty badass, and we’re slightly jealous of a pro union that gets to play in something that looks like it came from the highlights reel of the Cape Town 10s.
