Those little cameo appearances on QI, The Tonight Show and The Late Show seemed to have really done the trick for Trevor Noah’s career – as it has just been revealed that he will star in his very own US sitcom.
According to deadline.com, the project is backed by Will Smith’s ‘Overbrook Entertainment’, and is inspired by Trevor Noah’s “comedy and life”.
It does seem fitting that he gets his own show, considering that he has sold more DVDs than any other African stand-up comedian.
Although, this wont be the very first American TV production to come from Noah, his U.S. comedy special, ‘African American,’ is currently airing on Showtime.
