Tuesday night saw possibly one of the most hotly contended FIFA World Cup qualifier matches, as both Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic got on the scoresheet in a five-goal thriller.

In the eyes of many, both teams deserved to go through to football’s biggest competition. But on the night, it was Cristiano’s flair and sheer goal-scoring potency that quelled Sweden’s hopes of reaching the tournament for the 12th time in their history.
