It’s been almost half a century since Bob Dylan dropped ‘Like A Rolling Stone’, but finally, after teaming up with a 27 year-old tech-whizz, Bob Dylan has released a music video to go along with his 1965 hit song.
Released exclusively today on bobdylan.com, the revolutionary new music video takes the form of a completely interactive TV set. It’s interactive because you can change the channel and the volume, and revolutionary because whatever channel you flick to, everyone on the TV is mouthing the lyrics to Dylan’s classic song.
The video is the brain child of one Vania Heymann, a 27-year-old Israeli viral video whizkid. She’s created videos for Pepsi and American Express – and almost everything she’s produced has gone super-viral, racking up millions of hits.
The new video looks to be timed alongside the release of “The Complete Album Collection, Vol. 1” a massive new Dylan box-set, containing all 41 of his albums.
The nice thing about this interactive video is that you can watch it a hundred times over, and never watch the same series of images twice. It’s basically like editing your own music video.
Give it a try, you’ll thank us.
