‘Time’ is known for their world-class journalism, hard hitting analysis and classy magazine covers. Never one to take cheap shots at public figures, the world was shocked when they decided to make a fat joke on their most recent cover.
Newly elected mayor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, is a fairly large man. And despite the fact that he’s a Republican, the new cover had liberals all over social media up in arms about the lewd joke.
And, as usual, Twitter did what Twitter does best – hatin’.
Despite the furore, we think it’s a bloody brilliant cover.
