The Destroyer. You don’t have to look very far beyond the name of this beast to know that it’s the US navy’s most intimidating weapon. It’s basically an entire army floating in the sea, capable of causing enough damage to completely ruin a small city. And now, the US Navy has just plopped it’s newest destroyer into the sea – the USS Zumwalt.
It can fire massive rockets from 100 miles offshore, and its ‘tumblehome’ hull means it’s totally undetectable by enemy radar, and even if some enemies were able to get radar signal to the destroyer, composite armour would just absorb it. It’s basically invisible. Not only that, but its Linux-based computer can buy and implement off-the-shelf software when it needs an upgrade.
It’s also got an electric engine, meaning this thing glides through the water, totally undetectable, like a croc on the prowl. Soundless.
