UPDATED: ANC March Turns To Riot In Cape Town CBD [PICS + VIDEOS]

Reports are breaking all over Twitter that an ANC march to the provincial legislature in Wale Street has turned violent, resulting the the looting of shops and the stoning of informal traders. Protesters are branching into the streets adjacent to St George’s Mall, and police are firing rubber bullets in a bid to control the crowds.
Eyewitnesses on the scene overheard protest marshals saying, “White people must stay away.”
