A reader sent in a link to an article about a Hollywood actress’ sex tape. It included a trailer for the sex tape, with Land Rover SA’s branding all over it.

UPDATE: We would like to make it VERY clear that the main image of the article is a merge of the two screenshots (the pre-roll and the trailer itself). ALL the screenshots BELOW were taken by us.. They have NOT been photoshopped and the ads DID run on said page, as described below. Whether or not that was the intention of the media managers out there to tick whatever boxes they ticked for the ad to appear there, has nothing to do with us. We’re reporting what we saw. 

The article is about Tami Erin who is best known for her portrayal of Pippi Longstocking in the 1988 film The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking. Someone has leaked footage of her from a sex tape, which is now being sold on the internet.

The article we were sent contained a trailer of that sex tape.

As you can see, the video and article invites the user to press play on the trailer.

But when you click play, this is what you get:

‘Range Rover SA’ is clearly emblazoned on the top of the advert, which runs before the sex tape trailer starts.

The particular video host is not YouTube, but rather spinmediavideo.com. They clearly offer a similar service to YouTube, which allows advertisers to run their ad before popular video content. We’re not sure how spinmediavideo.com works, but on YouTube you can definitely choose what ‘type’ of content you want your brand to run on, or to be associated with.

This is the copy that appeared directly below the Land Rover advert when we viewed that page. Please be warned that it is graphic in its nature.

Hollywood seems to be rebooting pretty much every 80′s movie at this point. This Pippi Longstocking redux seems to contain a lot more cock than I recall in the first go-round. Also, I don’t remember Tami Erin moaning quite so much when being chased by pirates. The actress said at one point she was going to make sure she never let this tape get out to the public. Oops. She also said she was being filmed without her knowledge. It’s unclear what she thought her boyfriend was holding in his hands and pointing a bunch at her and his dick. You’d think a girl who can lift a horse with one hand would be wise to this shit.
