It’s not often that you find a video clip of a rapper that besmirches his gangsta image. But some brave soul recently leaked a video of 50 Cent auditioning for a role in  Denzel Washington’s 2007 drama, American Gangster – a movie about drug kingpin Frank Lucas and his rise to power.

Mr. Cent, who likes to go by the name of “Curtis Jackson” when it comes to his acting career, didn’t have much of  an acting CV up to date,with his only feature film being Terence Winters’ Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, a feature-length film based on 50’s rise to fame. That didn’t stop him though, as he tried to audition for the role of one of Lucas’ brothers, a lieutenant in his drug army.

Keep watching, it only gets funnier as it goes on.
