I dropped a line to Baby Jesus and The Blonde from Goldfish this weekend, asking where the hell their new album is. ‘It drops on Monday’ replied Baby Jesus, en route to Amsterdam (#normal). ‘Send that shit my way,’ I insisted. So here it is gang – their new album, ‘Three Second Memory..’

Some of you will know the latest radio hit ‘One Million Views‘ – that’s Goldfish’s song from this new album (video currently has 350,000 views).

You need to take a listen to the rest of this album – epic as usual! The title track uses a sample from that 90s tune ‘Remember me’ – you’ll recognise it if you press play above. I’ve taken a listen to the rest of the album and played it for most of Sunday. It just works and has a good distribution of tempo, from track to track. Guest artists include the smooth tones of Emily Bruce, as well as Monique Hellenberg, John Mani and of course, Sakhile Moleshe. Baby Jesus (David Poole) also gets behind the mic now and then – nice pipes, my boet!
