If you were in any doubt as to whether Julius Malema is back to his former self, his speech at the University of Limpopo to 3,000 students should reassure you.
This, from CityPress:
Firebrand Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema has labelled President Jacob Zuma a “thief” who should not be a role model.
He also spoke fondly of and glorified Zuma’s predecessors, Nelson Mandela and Thabo Mbeki, but did not mention Zuma by name, only saying “e seng mpsa e” which is loosely translated as “but not this dog”.
“Zuma must never be your role model. He is a thief. In Zuma we see a self-serving leader,” Malema said.
Addressing about 3 000 students at the University of Limpopo’s Turf Campus in Mankweng outside Polokwane yesterday, Malema accused Zuma of having killed the ANC Youth League which he led.
“There used to be an organisation called the ANC Youth League (but) it was killed by Jacob Zuma. He killed the Youth League of Peter Mokaba and Nelson Mandela (because) he knew the youth league was going to bring about change,” he said.
