Some weeks ago a video of a revolting Johannesburg child assaulting a Glenvista High teacher with a chair and a broomstick surfaced. The victim of the assault handled himself like a champ, resisting what must have been a fairly strong urge to extend a backhand to the twerp. We have the video for those of you who missed it.
This, from EWN:
The school says the teacher is undergoing counselling and is continuing with his work.
Governing body chairperson Michael Ettie has praised him for handling the matter in the manner he did.
“He says he’s forgiven them all. The day after the actual incident he went into the classroom to teach and the bulk of the classroom apologised for their behaviour. I think it’s wonderful the way he’s handled this entire thing.”
This teacher is basically Gandhi.
We are delighted to announce that the klein kak has been suspended, along with the classmate who filmed the attack.
