An anonymous man from South Carolina in the US of the A claimed the facemelting $400 million powerball jackpot a few days ago. And you’ll be slightly annoyed with how casually he stepped into his new life.
Heeding his wife’s request to stop at a convenience store to buy hotdog buns, our man arrived at the store to find that said convenience store didn’t sell hotdog buns. What with it being the day of the draw, he bought $20 worth of lottery tickets on a whim.
And he nailed it.
And to rub salt into the wound, he mentioned that this is only the second time he’s ever bought a lottery ticket.
The anonymous man isn’t the only winner. The convenience store gets a $50,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Perhaps they’ll start stocking hot dog buns with that extra capital.
You can buy your own tickets to overseas lotteries, HERE.
