They’re Using F-16s As Drones Now [VIDEO]

Science has gone and done it again and made war a whole lot scarier. Suicide bombers’ jobs are going to take a dive as these planes are being flown with nobody in the cockpit. That’s right. Unmanned F-16s are coming your way.

Watch the first take off, fly around and landing of the airborne death-machine sans pilot. The plane carried out its take-off sequence, a series of simulated manoeuvres, supersonic flight, and landing procedures all controlled by two test pilots sitting safely on the ground in Florida.

The US Air Force and Boeing have six of these retired F-16s dubbed, ‘QF-16s’, ready for unmanned flight and weapons testing.
