Kindle:
The app has revamped it’s style to match iOS7’s sleek new look. It has thin fonts, folders that match the home screen and blurred backgrounds.
CNN have done a complete overhaul of their new app. They have cleaned it up and it looks awesome. It features lots of blues and reds and has a user friendly layout. It is not available just yet but will look like this:
Facebook a tool bar that hangs out at the bottom of the screen! Navigating the Facebook app has never been so easy.
The New York Times
The NY Times looks damn good. They have bigger pictures, bigger headlines and a simpler layout.
Yahoo
Yahoo’s new app is familiar to you if you’re down with their weather app. It now supports animated GIFs and includes breaking news.
Vimeo jumped on the iOS bandwagon and tidied up shop. The app now looks similar to the website, and has simple icons and text.
Pocket Casts
Pocket Casts have done away with the buttons and bars, and have opted for a more square look. The layout has simple icons laid out throughout the app with podcast cover art.
Ted
Ted has done some spring cleaning and is done with the clutter. Users can now focus on talks with lots of white space and bright red buttons on every page.
The popular podcast downloader has chosen to follow suite and go for a more minimalistic look. It will even download podcasts in the background!
