Microsoft has pulled this parody video from their website because it apparently didn’t have the “desired effect.”
The video is called, ‘A fly on the wall in Cupertino?’, and it depicts a series of meetings at the Apple headquarters in Cupertino where executives pitch ideas for the iPhone 5S and 5C.
Although you can’t see the faces of the executives who are hearing the pitches, one of them resembles the late Steve Jobbs, and the resemblance was said to be in poor taste by many viewers.
The video doesn’t depict Microsoft at all, but does feature the hashtag #timetoswitch at the end.
A Microsoft spokesperson said:
The video was intended to be a light-hearted poke at our friends from Cupertino. But it was off the mark, and we’ve decided to pull it down.
Do you think it was off the mark?
