In the best real-world iteration of Project X yet, students at the University of Delaware turned the city of Newark into ground zero for the Loeries a massive drunken riot on Monday night.

This is what happened: A YouTube video series called ‘I’m Shmacked’ documenting ridiculous parties at US universities announced that they’d be dropping by the University Of Delaware. Hundreds of students packed the venue for the party, prompting the police to shut it down before the I’m Shmacked crew arrived.

The now very drunk and highly incensed crowd roamed the streets of Newark. It wasn’t long until numbers swelled to several thousand. Predictably, people started burning cars when the police showed up. Slightly more predictably, I’m Shmacked have apologised with the usual hand-washing statement.

The University of Delaware student body however is only too pleased with itself.
