The Lodge

Makakatana Bay Lodge boasts game viewing suites amidst a dune forest, which are frequented by warthog, red duiker, nyala, bush babies, birds and hippos. With large windows and terrace doors which lead onto a private viewing deck, guests are able to soak up the ambiance of the Wetland while appreciating the beauty of the natural environment around them. Afternoons can be spent diving into the private bush pool on the Lake’s edge, and meals can be enjoyed on the outdoor dining deck or in the inviting dining room.
