The season 4 trailer for Downton Abbey was released over the weekend, and we have it for you right here!
It starts with the Dowager Countess of Grantham (Maggie Smith) telling her granddaughter Lady Mary Crawley (Michelle Dockery), ”You have a straightforward choice, you must choose either death or life.” This dramatic opening is followed by a series of shots, including the revelation of Edith’s bare arms and an African American character!
We see a lot of crying and a lot of kissing, and a lot of new cast members. Paul Giamatti and Gary Carr have joined the cast along with, Kiri Te Kanawa, Julian Ovenden, Nigel Harman, Joanna David and Harriet Walter.
We can’t wait!
