American reporter, James Kirchick played a clever trick on the the Russian RT news network, and was kicked off the air. He was supposed to be talking about Bradley Manning, and instead offered his opinion on the Russian government’s anti-gay laws.
Being silent in the face of evil is something that we can’t do, so being here on a Kremlin-funded propaganda network, I’m going to wear my gay pride suspenders and speak out against the horrific, anti-gay legislation that Vladimir Putin has signed into law
Kirchick magically disappeared from the screen shortly after saying this:
You have 24 hours a day to lie about America, I am going to tell the truth with my two minutes.
Apparently the air wasn’t the only thing RT kicked Kirchick off of, he tweeted this after his appearance:
