Chantal Rutter Dros, famous for her work on eNews and Carte Blanche, will be the face of the primetime news on ANN7, the new 24-hour news channel on DStv. ANN7 is backed by the powerful and politically connected Gupta family, and has Jacob Zuma’s son, Duduzane, as an investor. Rutter Dros said,

I left Carte Blanche, which has been my media home for the past three and a half years, for ANN7 because the prospect of once again being part of a start-up was tantalising
