If records are correct, a Bolivian sheep hearder is the oldest man alive. Born in 1890, Carmelo Flores Laura is said to be 123. Carmelo credits lots of walking, eating barley and drinking water from the fourth highest mountain in Bolivia, Illampu, for his long life.

Flores has seen a lot in his long life, he was born a year before the rotary phone was invented, and had already had his 21st birthday bash when the Titannic sunk.
