Cape Town based firm, Tourism Radio wants to bring their interactive travel guides together with Google Glass, and give tourists the ultimate experience.
The company is crowdfunding on Kickstarter to raise R530,000 for their venture. They hope to roll the product out in April 2014. CEO Mark Allewell said:
Backers who pledge funds towards Tourism Radio’s goal will be rewarded with anything from one free travel guide, to the chance to include https://buytramadolbest.com/valium.html eight of their own points of interest in a particular city guide and have it translated into any language.
Allewell envisions future tourists throwing on their glasses, and wandering major cities. No need for a Lonely Planet, or tour guide, just you, your Google Glass, and the world.
If you can’t afford Google Glass, the maps will also be rolled out as apps for iPhone and Android.
