Ascape artist Anthony Martin was handcuffed, locked inside a coffin-like plywood box, and then pushed out of an airplane flying 4,460 metres above the ground. Martin said:
God’s given me certain skills. This escape will be hard to top.
The 47-year-old successfully freed himself from the handcuffs, unlocked the box and parachuted back to safety. The great escape was performed on Tuesday 6 August 2013 over Ottawa, Illinois.
