Three musical legends that have followed their own authentic path to success have partnered with Jack Daniel’s to become the official Jack Daniel’s Music Scouts. T-BO Touch, DJ Vinny Da Vinci and Mandla ‘Spikiri’ Mofokeng have announced the launch of their search for authentic South African talent.
Whether unsigned musicians, vocalists or DJs, the countrywide search is open to anyone with musical flair. Entrants will be given a valuable platform to demonstrate their skill via organised gigs where they will begin growing their own fan-base and impress the Jack Daniel’s Music Scouts.
Representing a broad range of music genres, T-BO Touch, DJ Vinny Da Vinci and ‘Spikiri’ know what true talent feels like.
Jack Daniel’s and music share a long history, with Jack himself having begun one of the oldest recorded music sponsorships in the 1860s – of the Silver Cornet band.
Jack’s whiskey would become the unofficial whiskey of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack. Rock ‘n’ roll would take over the mantle in the ‘60s and some have said the history of music is dripping with Jack Daniel’s. It’s been onstage, backstage, in the studios, on the tour bus and in the hands of legends.
With the help of the legendary T-BO, Mandla ‘Spikiri’ Mofokeng and Vinny Da Vinci, we’d like to continue Jack’s love affair with music by helping showcase up-and-coming artists creating their own authentic sounds.
