How is this for standing your ground. These residents refused to move from their homes when the ground around them became a new construction site. This is quite common in China, they even have a name for it – ‘Nail houses’ or ‘stubborn nails’. Construction workers have to dance around these homes in order to get their job done. These are a few examples of ‘nail houses” from around the world.
