The Gulfstream G650 is by far the most impressive private jet that stood out at the Paris Air Show last month. If you place your order for the G650 now, for $65 million (R639 million), you expect delivery in 2017.
The G650 is faster than any commercial jet and boasts natural light and richer air. It has two Rolls-Royce engines and has a top speed of Mach .925. The jet has room for eight passengers and four crew members and can be customised to fit the buyer’s taste.
Passengers can control screens, lighting and the opening and closing of window shades with the use of an app on their iPhone.
For now the Gulfstream is at the top of its class and it will stay there for a few years.
