Feichi, a Dota 2 player has earned $226,776.58 from eight tournaments. The gamer won $200,000 from a single tournament in 2012.
Gamer 14: Ilyes “Stephano” Satouri
He’s played a total of 58 tournaments and Satouri has won $229,902.30.
Gamer 13: Sander “VoO” Kaasjager
Kaasjager has made $232,725.00 from only 18 tournaments. The bulk of Kaasjager’s money was however made in 2004 and 2005 from Painkiller.
Gamer 12: Kim “Bisu” Taek Yong
The Korean has competed in 34 tournaments and racked up an impressive $256,507.13. Taek competitively played the original StarCraft.
Gamer 11: Lim “NesTea” Jae Duk
Formally one of the world’s best StarCraft 2 players, the Korean has made $262,494.80 from 32 tournaments. His LG sponsorship deal makes up for the fact that he may finish lower down the ladder than normal.
Gamer 10: Dmitriy “LighTofHeaveN” Kupriyanov
From only 19 tournaments, the Russian has made $267,699.10. His bank balance was helped along when he placed 1st and 2nd at the international Dota 2 competitions.
Gamer 9: Oleksandr “XBOCT” Dashkevych
Since 2011, this Ukranian born Dota 2 champion has made $274,896.19 from 22 tournaments.
Gamer 8: Clement “Puppy” Ivanov
Ivanov has earned $274,896.19 from 22 tournaments.
Gamer 7: Danylo “Dendi” Ishutin
One of the world’s best Dota 2 players, Ishutin has earned $275,800.28 from 23 tournaments.
Gamer 6: Jang “moon” Jae Ho
This Korean has made $292,019.57 from 43 tournaments. The Korean is unstoppable when it comes to playing Warcraft 3.
Gamer 5: Jang “MC” Min Chul
A total of 64 tournaments has made this Korean $367,902.12. He is one of the top StarCraft 2 players.
Gamer 4: Lee “Jaedong” Jae Dong
From 35 tournaments Jae Dong has made $374,528.83. A lot of that money came from playing StarCraft: Brood War. He has since moved onto StarCraft 2.
Gamer 3: Jung “Mvp” Jong Hyun
Some 42 tournaments have made the Korean $377,116.37. He is a four-time Global StarCraft 2 League champion.
Gamer 2: Lee “Flash” Young Ho
This Korean is the most successful StarCraft: Brood War player in the world. Only 40 tournaments have made him $437,114.53.
Gamer 1: Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel
Wendel is the world’s first prominent professional gamer and from 35 tournaments, has made $454,544.98.
